This well planned neighborhood is one of the premier suburbs of Charlotte. The designer and landscape architect, John Nolen, was a graduate of Harvard and had the privilege of being mentored by the renowned designer of Central Park in New York. This beautifully landscaped neighborhood with its tree-lined streets showcases some of the most exquisite historic homes. This 1000-acre treeless farmland, owned by John Spring Myers, was turned into an absolutely beautiful suburb located off of Providence road. Many of the homes in this enclave are an original mixture of bungalows and craftsman style homes and mansions. Myers Park is approximately 2200 acres of restaurants, homes, and places of worship and of course the Queen City College.
