If you blink you are liable to miss this splendid rich historic neighborhood. Located Southeast of Center City, Eastover started being developed in 1927 by the E.C. Griffith Company who donated the land in Eastover for The Mint Museum of Art. This one time dairy farm developed into a wealthy neighborhood which branches off of Myers Park and was one of the first suburbs of Charlotte. Its tree-lined streets with ranch style homes and two-story residential properties are a combination of Bungalow, Tudor and Colonial homes that are absolutely gorgeous. Riding your bike through the Eastover loop is literally breath taking.
